The fourth book about the warrior from Atlantis. It's about Alexius, a warrior who, like others before him by the vampire goddess Anubia been captured and tortured. She enstellt one side of his otherwise perfect face with horrible scars that everyone seems to stare.
Grace, his partner, is a fearless, insecure leader of the rebel groups and is forced to Alexios for some time to work together. It is a distant Nachfarin the goddess Diana and, as such, meets the arc of each goal. She is strong and determined, and the next moment uncertain and lonely. This unequal

I must confess, I have difficulties to reproduce the contents of this book. Not because I have not read or not understood, but because I found it infinitely boring and nonsensical. The couple already knew her from another band and it was right on the first pages of a certain attraction. They kiss even, after which Alexius turned into water and disappear. There is an all-changing kiss, the so-called soul-melt and during Grace has no idea why they suddenly see things from the past and Alexios many bright colors, our silent hero, and Atlantic states to the end of the book. I even think he has not, even not explained (or I've read about yawning).
The only highlight of this book was again Alaric, the High Priest who Amoklief, is injured when his mistress. I think if I would not be the next volume in the series here already, Alexios story would have been my last. I am still waiting for Alaric, because I'm really curious to its history, but Brennan's? Interests me not at all Alexios drama. Very sad.
